This is my finished poster that I have created, I have changed the text so it stands out and so everything is clear.

Research and magazine: Changed mind on magazine

I have changed my mind on the colours I wanted it to be, I think it looks more professional with the darker red rather than the pink colour for the masthead and coverlines. I also wanted it to be the same theme as the poster so I have used the colour theme of this to link them both together.

This is how my magazine looks so far, I have added some more text of the films that are also inlcuded on the magazine and made the text bigger so my magazine looks more full, I still can't decide whether I like the background or not.

I just need to make the magazine look more complete and add maybe actors names and dates so it stands out.

This is the start of the film magazine, I'm trying to make the title of the magazine stand out but at this point it isn't looking like a magazine, I will now start to add the main elements that are included on a magazine so it starts to look real.

This will be the image I will be using for my magazine, I'm not sure whether I will be keeping this background and blurring it or using the laso tool to crop them out and put onto a plain background.

These are 3 examples of film magazines that I have been looking at to base my own film magazine around, as my main image will be like the bottom magazine with a two shot, this is the magazine which I will try to compare with mine. This looks like a professional magazine as it has 

• A masthead
• Cover-lines
• A main image
• A barcode                                     

and other films which are included on the poster aswell as the main film which is the main focus.

Research and planning: meeting post

• We had a meeting with Angela about our film trailer.
• We have filmed some clips that cannot be used in the trailer as it will give the film away to much as we filmed someone dying at the end of it in a car accident.
• We have had a discussion and decided to film clips of them arguing and upset instead of giving the film away.
• We are going to watch some more trailers e.g. the notebook, p.s. I love you to see how their trailers look and what we can interpret into ours.
